The Idyllwild Art Camp summer program offers courses in dance, theater, the visual arts, music, fashion design, film, and more. During the summer months, the center hosts a sleep away retreat for artists of all ages.
Each year for nearly a decade, highly talented and motivated student-artists from Value Schools have attended Idyllwild to develop their craft. Again this summer, students from both Central City Value and University Prep Value will participate.
Neily L., from University Prep, was selected to participate in the program three years ago. In her first-ever experience away from Los Angeles and her family, Neily was introduced to a new world of possibility and focus.
“Everything connects back to art," said Neily. "Geometry, architecture, history, everything is wrapped in art.”
